The end of the race was slightly marred by controversy, when a very agitated Karl Cousineau accused both Clarkson and ODD officials of missing a blatant drivers door call.   The end result was Cousineau calling out Clarkson to finish what apparently was started in Minden.

Niether driver has made further comments about the incicent, but you can be certain it  isn't over.  It is unknown when they will meet next on the track, but it will certainly be exciting.

The 4 Cylinder event was tame by comparison.  Figure 8 wins were scored by Redneck Racing's Trevor Egeberg , as well as Minden's own Gavin Gartshore.

The demo was a Redneck finish of 1st and 2nd for Egeberg and Jeff, with hometown hero Gartshore finishing 3rd.

To cap off the night the 4 Cylinder competitors made some repairs and again returned to the track for an impromptu consolation heat.

The difference this time was ODD official Doug Grant climbed in the rather battered raffle car, and joined Gartshore to battle the Redneck team.

When the dust settled the team of Grant and Garshore managed to finish off the Redneck boys, with Gartshore taking home the consolation hardware.
